I was at the Apple for their fab-o Holiday Party last week when they unveiled a slew of new Lily McNeal sweaters. You should have seen the ladies going crazy for them, before they were even price tagged I think the Apple Girls sold two or three. They are so soft and snuggly and would make a great gift for your Mom, sister or your fine self of course!

I’ve been a fan of Free People since my early 20’s when I lived in the Haight and shopping at Urban Outfitters was a splurge (kinda of still is to be honest). As my ideas about fashion have matured, I find that mixing my earlier thrift shop style with more expensive designs has provided me with my own unique look. It’s nice to know that Free People is still around making whimsical clothes that fit my budget and fit my style.

These splashy Trina Turk dresses with the bold zig zag stripes have such a great 70’s vibe while looking totally modern. The chevron pattern was made famous by Missoni who pretty much cornered the market on this design pattern from gorgeous dresses to bedding and rugs.
