Milly was born out of Michelle Smith's long-standing love of fashion and her adventures both stateside and abroad. She explains "My Connecticut childhood, my time spent in Paris, soaking up the culture and nonchalent elegance of the women there and my life as a single working girl in New York, wanting clothes that are sexy and fun but still allow me to be taken seroiusly."
